Tyana Ancient City is located in Bor district, in the town of Kemerhisar. A large part of the ancient city remains beneath the town. Significant sculptures discovered at various locations in the town, along with artifacts and architectural pieces uncovered during scientific excavations at the site, are displayed at the Niğde Museum. The town was named Kemerhisar because of the aqueducts built during the Roman period to carry the spring water that supplied the ancient pool known as the Roman Pool, located in Bahçeli Town.
