Postclassic Maya site on eastern shores of Yucatán, Mexico, and one of the few walled Maya cities known. The wall stands 3-5 meters high and is 6 meters thick with series of civic and residential squat flat-roofed buildings around the ceremonial center. It was an important trading center.
