A stratified site in Kodaira City, near Tokyo, Japan. The Palaeolithic materials are of interest, because regularly shaped blades and edge-ground axes were found in the lower layers dated to about 30,000 years ago. A number of piles of burned rock, which seem to have been used for cooking, were also found.
