A quarry near Verona, Italy, with several lower and middle Palaeolithic levels and a human occipital skull-bone of Neanderthal type. There was an open settlement of the Square-Mouthed Pottery Neolithic culture and a cemetery of crouched inhumations. The name Finale-Quinzano is sometimes given to a variant of square-mouthed pottery named after this site and Arene Candide.
