Iron Age royal residence in County Meath, Ireland, with a round house and stockage occupied c 700-100 BC. In c 100 BC, a large circular timber building with banked and ditched enclosure was built. It was later burned and covered by a monumental cairn. The Iron Age occupation is identified with Emhain Macha, ancient royal seat of Ulaid, and the Irish king Tuathal.
