Name formerly given to the regional La T₺ne Iron Age group found in the Mame Valley of northern France and thought to represent a group which invaded Britain in the 3rd and 2nd centuries bc. The view is generally rejected today, although there were certainly close connections between Iron Age groups in the Marne region and the Arras culture of eastern Yorkshire.
