A cave site on Masbate Island in the central Philippines, which has produced incised and impressed pottery of a type found widely in Southeast Asia and South Vietnam from c 500/400 BC to 1500 AD. Kalanay is one of the type sites for the 'Sa-Huynh-Kalanay' pottery complex (Sa-Huynh of coastal Vietnam). There are metal period jar burials from the late 1st millennium BC or later.
