The site of the capital of the kingdom of Funan towards the end of the 6th century. The rich archaeological site is located south of Phnom Penh, near the Vietnam border, in Cambodia. It appears as Na-fu-na in Chinese writings and is identified with Naravaranagara. There are many stone statuary.

[from Sanskrit puri: ‘sacred city’]. The capital of the kingdom of Funan, in the southern part of the Indochinese Peninsula, for some time towards the end of this kingdom in the 6th century. It appears as Na-fu-na in Chinese chronicles, which can be identified with Naravaranagara, and is now a rich archaeological site in Cambodia, south of Phnom Penh near the border with Vietnam. These is much famous statuary in stone, attributable mainly to king Rudravarman; no building of this site and period has as yet been studied.
