Leto among the illustrious Titanides, stood as the cherished consort of Zeus, and as the mother to the divine twins, Apollon and Artemis. She held the divine mantle of motherhood and, alongside her offspring, she shielded and nurtured the young. Her name and symbols indicated her role as a guardian of modesty and feminine grace. Much like her sister Asteria, she may have also embodied aspects of nocturnal mystique, or conversely, the radiant light of day.
